Founded in 1997 by Steve DeMitro, the Chicago Masters league features some of the swiftest local puck legends on ice, even those who have applied their art at the professional level. This season, the Chicago Masters initiated the first-ever in-city women's hockey league, the Chicago Women's Masters, and were lucky enough to snag Laura Moss and Deb Seigel of the state champion Chicago ICE for their inaugural season.
